Come experience the oldest desert in the world ! Untouched by the human touch, this area presents endless vastness and isolation. Photographers will revel in the picture-perfect sunsets of this country. Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib desert, the inhabitants on Swakopmund have created their habitat - a German oasis. About 30km south is Walvis Bay, the import / export harbour of Namibia. A buzzing town that caters for the modern businessman. About 70km north of Swakopmund is Henties Bay - a fisherman village second to none. To the south of the Namibian coast, you'll find the town of Luderitz. A few km's from Luderitz, go visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop.
